Getting Started

I've watched and admired as many of my family and friends have created blogs. I've found this to be a good way to stay up to date with what is going on in the lives of those I care about. Well, after thinking about this for what seems like ever I decided it was time to get on the band wagon and create a blog of my own. After-all, the church does teach us to keep a journal, right? I see this as that journal that I should be keeping. It's a way to express through word and picture what is going on the lives of me and my family.
I thought I'd use this initial post as a chance to introduce my family and how we came to be (the Reader's Digest version).
On September 2nd, 2008 my world changed. Thanks to E-Harmony I met the love of my life we started a long distance relationship. Just over a month later on October 10th we met in person and once I got over my initial shyness it was love at first sight (actually it was love before sight if there is such a thing, we knew each other so well, the in person was just the validation of what we were feeling). We were engaged just a month after that and on December 31st, 2008 we were married (what a way to start the new year, right?!?).

We settled into our life in Reno, getting sealed to one another in the St. George Temple exactly one year after we were married on December 31st, 2009. We found out just a couple months later that our family of two (plus three cats) would soon be three. We happily had our world changed upside down on September 16, 2010 when Kara Jean Nuttall was born.

Well, there you have it - that's our family and how we came to be The Nutt house
