As I’ve stated before, family means everything to the Nutt
House. We were ecstatic in early January
when we had family move down to the Valley of the Sun. And this wasn’t just any family, this was
family with cousins! Young aged –
perfect ages to play with Kara and Kaden aged cousins!!! That in itself was and is a huge blessing
icing on the cake was the fact that Brent and I gel well with the family as
well. What a grand addition to the
area! We are fortunate to have them
here, we’ve had many fun adventures already and look forward to all that are
still to come!
When their family first moved here we had tickets to Disney
on Ice. To help out and make it fun for
Kara we took the girls with us. What a
fun experience it was! Kara is still
convinced she went to Disneyland that day.
I've tried correcting her, but it’s just too fun to listen to her
describe her trip to “Disneyland”. The
eyes of all the girls were captivated on every performance with levels of
excitement building upon each other as a different Disney princess was
revealed.
Always and forever my princess!
Glued to every twirl, word, and song
To help welcome this new family to the valley we’ve taken
them to a couple of our favorite family areas – the zoo and the science
center. Both places have been so much
fun for our family to share these experiences with anyone is something all of
us Nutts enjoy.
Monkeying around
The science center is becoming more and more entertaining as
both Kara and Kaden are getting older, as they are able to increasingly enjoy
the different exhibits, and are getting to ages that where it’s fun to go and play
at the science center they (mostly Kara, but still both) are starting to learn
different things. Additionally, it’s fascinating
to watch what they each gravitate to – Kaden the areas and exhibits where he
can build, connect, or put things together; Kara the ones where there is a more
immediate cause and effect taking place.
Kaden could spend hours and days at the exhibit alone
Who wouldn't have fun playing in the mud?
Kara loves this exhibit, it's so fun to watch her each & every time
Brent’s mom and stepdad came down for a visit shortly after
Brent’s stepbrother & his family moved here.
Hanging out with Grammy and Papa
During their visit we were privileged enough
to have the hallowed experience of attending the open house of the new Gilbert
Temple. Since we have moved here we have
enjoyed watching the progress on this most sacred building. To finally experience going through this most
holy of places and to be able to do this with family members made this
peaceful, loving, spiritual experience even more fulfilling.
Family and friends near and far mean so much to the Nutt
House. We invite any and all to come
down to our neck of the woods and experience our Nutt-y lives. For the family we have living here, every
minute we can spend with them means more to all members of our Nutt House than
we could ever express. For the family
not so close, the times we do get to spend together we treasure and hold those
times so dear in our hearts. We look
forward to the many escapades that we know we will have with the plethora of
individuals that are our family and those others that we hold as dear to us as
family.
