Cars, Helicopters, Motorcycles, Oh My!

A couple weeks ago the Nutt House ventured to a local event we’ve wanted to participate in since moving here and hearing about it; other things came up and got in the way in previous years so this was our first year attending Transportation Day at God’s Garden Preschool.  Definitely an event we will make a priority to attend again!
Transportation Day is a family event with all forms of transportation available for kids of all ages to explore.  Everything from a hot air balloon, police motorcycle and car, race car, fire truck, school bus, garbage truck, a helicopter and much, much more!
Both Kara and Kaden enjoyed the day, though I think for Kaden it ranks right up there with Disneyland or visiting grandpa.  As we started off exploring the fire truck it was evident that the day would be a success.  Kara thought being a firewoman was so exciting, Kaden loved being in the big, big fire truck.  Layers of fun stacked on top of one another like Legos being stacked for a tower as we moved from the fire truck to a police car, motorcycle, cable company bucket truck, and on and on and on.  I’m certain many career seeds were planted in his little head with each change of vehicles.    The vehicles that allowed for the little Nutts to be in the drives seat were of course, their favorites.
Enjoying the fire truck

May this be their only back of a cop car experience!

How badly he wanted it to take off

I think this was her favorite of them all

Candy made the bucket truck even better

His face says it all

To add to the delight of the day, as Kara would say, "cousins" went with us! Family always turns good times into great ones!!

We cannot wait to see what this new week brings to the Nutt House!
