Christmas 2012

As I continue on the path of catch up (when am I not on this path?) we are now on Christmas Day.  Beforehand though, there is on event leading up to Christmas that I forgot to include – our trip to Zoo Lights.  We so loved this!  This one event itself was worth the price of the zoo membership to me, the lights were amazing!

Detour is now over!  Back on track we have Christmas Eve first where the kids each got new pajamas for Christmas that they got to open up Christmas Eve.  Big parents were scored as Kara got Strawberry Shortcake. 

Christmas Eve could not be without a plate of cookies being left out for Santa Claus.

Of course, we also have the tree with the mother lode underneath and all around it.

Here is the part where I pay for being so Nutty and not updating our family blog in a timely fashion.  I am unable to locate the pictures of our Christmas day.  Each year we put together (with Brent doing the bulk of the work) a DVD showing our year in pictures, I played my copy for 2012 and I know we had lots of amazing pictures.  I’m going to hope that when it is a saner hour of the day Brent can work the magic that he is so good at working and find me the pictures to add.  If he is unable to, well, I will wallow in my self-pity and try to use this as a lesson to not get so far behind!
