It’s hard to believe that just a few days ago I was writing
about Christmas now here I am ready to share some of our Easter goings-on.
Easter is important to us at the Nutt House. In my opinion, the religious meaning behind
the holiday is as significant as the religious meaning behind Christmas and
celebrating the holiday over multiple days with loved ones to me is a great way
to show the honor, respect, and love the day deserves.
For Easter this year we started a new tradition, we attended
the Mesa Temple Easter Pageant. I had
heard that it was a must see and it truly was.
What a show! What an experience! And
what a spiritual high the pageant provided.

In addition to the pageant we engaged in some of the
traditional Easter activities. We
colored Easter eggs, went to a couple Easter egg hunts, the kids got Easter
outfits and Easter baskets. This Easter
was special as it was Kaden’s first Easter and my mom was here to experience
the day with us.

| She was twirling in her dress to one of the songs at church and I had to grab this picture |
| MMMmmm Peeps!!! |

The funniest part of Easter for the Nutt House was when Kara
was eating a marshmallow peep – she was holding the peep while talking or
playing with something else and Kaden stealthily snuck up ripped the bottom
half of the peep off and shoved it in his mouth without Kara being any the
wiser. It was so cute and so funny! OH!!!!
How I love those two little Nutts!
We truly had a wonderful Easter here at the Nutt House and
hope all of our family and friends did as well!
