An Abundance of Gratitude in November

November provided the Nutt House with a chance to be thankful for everything we have.  We did this through visits with friends, both near and far away as we engaged in play dates, trips to some of our favorite Phoenix locations, and for Brent and Kara even a fast one day trip to Las Vegas to support a sweet friend in her baptism.  We reflected on what we are thankful for as we had Grandma and Aunt Alicia come for a visit and we shared our crazy schedules and chaotic lives with them.  We celebrated our talents in November through My Gym classes and endless smiles thanks to Kaden and Kara's first dance competition of the new dance year.
Kara participated in her first turkey trot at Sierra elementary along with her kindergarten fall party - Batty Bedtime and Kaden continued to work on his "Master Builder" skills with many a trip to Legoland this past month.
The gratitude that abounds in our lives and hearts grew as we celebrated Thanksgiving with a short trip to St. George where we relished in the time we had with family.  For this mama Nutt that meant time with my amazing sisters shopping, hiking, game playing, chatting and more. What a perfect Thanksgiving atmosphere this provided.  Kara and Kaden treasured the new bunnies at grandpa's, teasing, giggles, silly time and playing with cousins, with Grandpa and Grandma, with Aunts and with each other.  Thanksgiving also gave us the time to enjoy the Lang family tradition of assembling Gingerbread houses surrounded by creative loved ones.
On our way back home from Thanksgiving we stopped in Flagstaff for our second North Pole Experience trip.  Amazing!!!  Simply magical and a perfect start to the fast approaching Christmas season.
